Admission Criteria
1. The individual must be at least sixteen (16) years of age, or eighteen (18) years of age for selected programs.
2. The individual must have a documented disability or barrier to employment.
3. The individual must be capable of providing for his or her own basic personal needs (feeding, mobility, medication, etc). Individuals who arrange for their own regular attendant care, when needed, will be accepted if they meet other program requirements.
4. The individual must be able to provide medical information as appropriate, at time of referral.
5. The individual must be able to arrange for appropriate transportation.
6. The individual must not pose a current threat to the health and safety of themselves, Goodwill staff, other participants, or the general public.
7. The individual must continue to participate in valid program and treatment agreements entered into with physicians, therapists, rehabilitation agencies and legal authorities.
8. A reasonable expectation must exist that the individual will benefit vocationally from program participation.
9. The individual must possess valid documents authorizing him or her to work in the United States.
10. The individual must have funding approval for programming.
 
How to Make a Referral:
1. Individuals may contact Goodwill's Workforce Development and Contracts Department directly (see Contact Us page).
2. Agencies, non-profit organizations, or other social service providers may contact Goodwill on behalf of their clients or refer them directly to the Workforce Development and Contracts Department at Goodwill.
